We have a setup that will lower it about an inch at most. The beta tester loves his setup, and is ready to experiment with other springs. I need to find out what the price is to make a set if this is something you are interested in.

They are $800 shipped for 4 KYB GR2s setup with coil overs and new strut mounts all around as well. You can then experiment with other springs if you want it lower or stiffer/not as stiff.

They aren't welded. No one here wants to weld to a tube with compressed gas in it:P

just an idea... if you wanna go lower completely cut the welds and drop the threads all the way to the bottom like the one I have.... I know it would be time consuming but grinding with a controlled amount of water drippping on the grinder blade will prevent the overheat...

I dont want to cut nothing I have to replace my suspension as it is and I wouldnt want to cut anything

We would rather find another setup that gives better travel for a lowered setup, if there is demand. Grinding off the stock tabs completely will allow you to go lower, how low can you go with them? it won't be a performance oriented setup this way but not everyone with these cars is in it for performance.

Do what makes money. If they wanna slam it let them slam it. I would have bought them months ago if i could get into the 2.5 - 3 inch lowered range

See I just want to go down a inch nothing drastic cant stand stuff thats to close to the ground if I cant floor jack it with my heavy duty jack then its to low

See I could do it myself like buy the kyb fully adjustable struts and moog coils for around $479 (thats all the way around the car) I was just seeing if I could find anything cheaper

i have seen some cars that roll with the coilovers at the optimal height for road/track use, but then drop them all the way down at a show or in parking lots etc... best of both worlds for performance and appearance
