So I just sold my 01' Monte Carlo SS cause the motor blew up. I found a nice 04' Alero GL1 3.4 with low miles so I bought it.

One thing I really miss from the Monte is the overhead console. Like with the compass, temp, fuel readings etc.

Has anyone ever installed a overhead console like this into an Alero? And if so, how is it done?

Thanks!

I feel like it may have been a option....

the only factory overhead console in the alero iv seen is just a pocket. never one that had any readings in it or anything.

The map lights on the rear view was as far as anything like that went. I'm sure it could be done, however a pain.

I put a Chevy one in my Grand Am. Just the basic temp and compass, i just got the one with home link and MPG. So i will see if it will work in the alero.
