what is Your opinion of vfiber's hood and fenders for the alero?
I personally like the hood. Not the one that has the two small side scoop things on it the one with the single hood scoop in the middle.
as for the fenders, they are something i dont know what to think of. they are vented on behind the wheel, I know that can have its advantages. i would like to know if having those vents there would help a cold air intake get more air, by pulling the air from up front toward the rear of the wheel well. hmm..
just some things that crossed my mind a minute ago and wanted to see what you guys thought.
feel free to post pictures of your car with your hood or fenders.

I was going to get the v-fiber hood myself, but cut it out to make it functional as well, if you like it, go for it.
as for the fenders, those vents do nothing. you may loose a pound or to but also durability.
finally found this, next to last page he has a pic to go with it.
Not a great quality picture but it's the only one I could find & it's from the day we installed them. They're cool but I wouldn't recommend them. They're fiberglass and they aren't durable at all. I know it would take a lot of work, but I would recommend trying to build custom vents into OEM fenders, for durability reasons.

I like the vfiber hood. and i agree with the fiberglass vs sheet metal fender thing. maybe ill build small vents into my stock fenders. now im thinking about the "racing stripe" on the fenders. ive seen alot of grand ams with them and a few aleros. i like them but im not sure i want them on my car or not...

by the time you get your car back you aren't going to have time to drive it with the 18's because it will be winter again

Sleepy that looks very sexy. I like it. I think I may attempt it with mine. I was also thinking about painting the indent on the door black. I removed the molding from the door and quarter for the smoother look. But as everyone knows my car has a ameture paint job so they forgot to remove the molding before painting it. Now I have a silver stripe on my quarter panel where the molding was.

yeah i pulled the molding off mine too. luckily my car has never been re painted. :p it was a pretty easy job. i know another member who had the same problem as you, idk if id want to paint whole indent down door a different color then the car though, but everyone has there own things.

if you are going to repaint the car anyways so that it all matches then i would try the black like you were wondering about first to get an overall idea of whether or not you like it
