Hi,
I never opened up a project thread, although I have my little 'ho for a couple satisfied years now.

Hmm how to best start a thread like this? How about some cups I won with it

interestingly both are for traveling the furthest - may this be a start of pattern?

These are from the 26.8.2012 in Immendingen

If you wonder why there is a NastyZ shirt - thats cause I was wearing the AleroMod shirt

and for the Olds folks here

Random question since I noticed you're in Germany... is your car an actual Oldsmobile or is it the "Chevy" Alero?

nice

Random memory. A member on another site said in Germany they a place called taurus-garage. Pretty much they rebuild all the ones from like 86-95

why don't i get mails about postings here?

Ok, first of Olds only built 288 for Germany, and well they are already all over europe or smashed.
So its a pretty rare car. So guess what - no other Alero. In fact I've never seen so many Aleros in my life since the ASS '11

I'll post a link to the meeting as soon as good photographer updates his page :)

@kenny
can you believe, its not even cleaned, there is still gunk on the rod bearing

About the Olds or Chevy thing. Well I got a chevrolet badge at the trunk, an olds logo on the front and the steering wheel. and in the official papers its an GMC N-Body
the later years (I think 02 + ) they got an ugly blue on black chevy bowtie

Opel sold them as Chevrolet, not to be confused with Chevrolet, which is Daewoo in Europe (since 03 I think)

alright, I am in the process of coolent flushing and replacing the LIM with a new set from victor reinz (a company from Neu-Ulm, about 10 min from where I lived ;D )

need to flush and clean the system, so i am about to get ready to run water and system cleaner through it - what a PITA to get the thermostat out while keeping everything else together, just to take everything apart tomorrow.

if I only knew. To be honest I only know 1 club that is strict Olds - they are IIRC, located near Munic
Oldsmobile IG or something like this.

Almost every other US Car meeting is not specific to onw car maker.

Why is all the writing on the trophies in English?

I don't know what "weiteste Anfahrt" in English means.
But in german it means "longest traveling distance"

And the golden one, is as u can see from the '11 ASS

:p
