fuel pump randomly starting

hi :canada: i have a alero with 2.2l ecotec engine and the fuel pump relay in my hood's fusebox keeps buzzing and my fuel pump wont start time , when fuel pump starts all is fine i can drive around for hours i did 475km in 3 days :) hot or cold is the same its weird , so i was guessing maybe a bad ground or wiring conection fuel pump to relay ?! or maybe my fuel pressure regulator ? i have been lookin for weeks now every forum i could find and nothing that i found hlepd me out really , i opend up the fusebox also and looked under to see if there was something dirty or making bad contact but its brand new then i relocated 3-4 grounds under hood that were in rust , it always cranks , i need to fuck around with the key turnin on to off for hours or until the fuel pump starts like i said its random some days its all fine then after no more fine anything i missd to check or tips will really be appreciated

Have u tried a new relay? Possibly its faulty.

yes i took off my second alero to try it out wont change nothing stalled 5 times today :\

I think the fuel pump itself might be on its way out.

if it is the fuel pump at least it is giving warning...with mine it was running normal i shut it off, went in the dorm, came out five minutes later it threw a code within 300 ft...was acting a little strange trying to stall...if i was keeping rpm up it was fine but i couldn't let it stop...even close to stopping and it began to choke out...i managed to get it into a parking spot and it died...i covered a total of 3 miles

at first i tought the fuel pump was about to die , but after toughts , if i can run for 5 hrs with no problems that means it pumps good so its not the problem ? or am i wrong

today went to dentist put keys in and start like new to go and to come back .. weird car !! :)

well i dont know what to say since that last post i added , the car has been runing like new , starts everytime i put the key in and never stalls on me : /
still looking for explanation :D
