Has anyone got this setup and is happy not on a performance level but in a "the car doesn't feel like it's going to fall apart on the bigger bumps and feel all the little bumps" level. I just am not happy with the comfort level. What do more expensive sports cars have for suspension like make them handle well but also are "comfortable". I'm not being a panzie but is the springs? , is it the struts? what will give me a good combination of both?

i have the eibach's and kyb's and i like the ride. i'm riding on 18/40's tho. so when you change your suspension i think the tire size has a lot to do with the feel of your ride also.

Have the KYB's and Eibach's here too. I'm riding on 225/45/17's as well.

Car rides nice and doesn't have that little rice or stick shift bounce to it

I don't have the eibachs, but I do have the Springtechs. The car rides like a rock now. Combined with the KYB's, I feel everything, even the little raised paint they use to paint the road lines out here. I like that feeling though. I'd rather have a "sporty" feeling car than a soft car.

Keep in mind that the overall comfort level is determined by everything installed. Look at the big picture. I see in your sig that you have front and rear sports-type sway bars, strut tower braces front and rear, not to mention the replacement engine/tranny mount. The 1st two mods I listed will help produce that "tightness" you're describing, and that new mount makes you feel everything the drivetrain is doing. With all that, PLUS tighter springs, what exactly were you expecting?

Intrax with KYB here.

I love it. Can really feel that road.

Young, i feel that the struts are not performing as they should or as i expected - it's not the tightness, it's the jarring over a bump. I really feel that even though it is stiff the struts should have some more give to them. Not that I can compare but what happens to a 350Z when it hits a bump, what makes that car a more "comfortable" ride. Different springs, different struts? Are Eibachs a good choice? Are the GR2's a good choice or do I want/need an adjustable fancy smancy strut to get the ride I desire. I want the performance but can I have my cake and eat it too? I put about 70000km a year on the car so I really want my fun but there really has to be something better than the eibachs or the GR2's or both?

I've been riding on eibach's with stock struts for a couple of years now. I think it's time for some better struts, haha.
