widest wheels

Whats the widest wheel we can fit with rotors all around? I hate to say it but I may be getting 18s because im having trouble finding 17s with the specs im looking for. 18x9 sound too wide?

i believe 18.9 will be just barely cuttin it in the front...

rears can take up to 10 inch wide IIRC.. might need spacers for fronts im not sure.

As long as you stay at proper tire height then 9 will be ok but remember I would not go with a side wall width of more than 9.5. This is the problem area.

Here buy these. They're only in Michigan, not to far from you, in amazing shape, low price, and two good tires. Your going to pay way more for new junk than you would for this nice set. Just do it it makes the most sense, and you can't go wrong with five spoke.

If we made cars that lasted forever and needed little to no repair what kind of economy do you think we would have. Not at all, look at the compression ratio on the 2.0 and look at ours, we are only at 9.5:1, where as the 2.0 is around 10.5:1 or 11:1. There just isn't enough people willing to put effort into these.

I had 18x8.5 with 235s when i had my alero. Now i have 18x9 with 245/40/18 on my Subaru Legacy will not have any problems rubbing when i lower it on coilovers. Once i roll the fenders i will go 265s. I think the widest tire you can fit without rolling the fenders on the alero are 255s and with the coilovers WOT tech is making or the ones milzy has the car should look good. i think KWhauck has 255s on his car. I do agree that stretched tires look like shit but each to their own.

It is your car though, and if it's what you want, then go for it. 04Pontiac's comments aside, I feel the 3 spoke wheel design looks better. Then again, I've always loved the Monoblock II's
