Hey, Does anyone know if the following rims will fit on my 2002 Alero GL with tires 215/60r15,

http://www.ebay.com/itm/15x6-5-Silver-Wheel-Vision-Shockwave-539-FWD-5x115-/160941055309?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories &hash=item2578d59d4d&vxp=mtr

Thanks.

1. why those? (to each his own, why not a more sporty wheel?)
2. why only 15's?
3. yes the bolt pattern is right, they will bolt up.
4. i think you can get away with a 215/60.
5. why not a wider wheel? stock they should come 225/xxR15 or 16.

You will need hub centering rings as the wheel centerbore (74.1mm) is much larger than the Alero hub diameter (70.3mm).
Otherwise, they will fit fine with a 215/60R15 tire.

@sleepyalero, where did you get your rims and are they 18s? How much is it usually for 17s or 18s with tires, im looking to not spend more than 1000.

Search kijiji man!! I found my 20's for $500 with rubber... i almist had a set of 18's for $375 as well... deals are out there just make sure your specs are accurate before buying and if possible test fit before purchasing!

Btw if you are up for a trip in the summer come down to Toronto for one of our meets!!

How often are the Toronto meets? I'd be down for it. Can you actually fit 20s on the alero?

I agree, try local sites first. Maybe you'll get lucky ;)

215/60 is what I have on my stock Grand Am wheels. There should be no reason that it will give you any issues. My question is why 15s? Are you trying to keep your current rubber?

16, 17 and 18 inch wheels look so much better on this car than 15s.

15s are cool but you car needs to be "LOW" and factory rubber thickness will just look stupid

check out the southwest Ontario thread ... http://www.aleromod.com/forums/showthread.php?p=629013#post629013

last summer we have I think 6 meets ranging from Barrie to Hamilton and even one down in London... pretty fun times, just a great reason to cruise and meet others with the same passion for these cars...

as for the rims, yes the 20's fit, I had to get spacers for the rears as they were originally on a buick century.

quick kijiji search found these:

make sure to ask about offset and center bore size... ours is 70.3, if they are larger you need hubcentric rings, smaller and they will not fit.

Let me just say that paint color with the cowl hood is a very nice match.

Still wish I had that hood. :panic:

They would be identical to mine posted above just smaller :)

Not sure on the tire size given it is only a 7.5" wide rim.
As i mentioxned earlier as well make sure the centre bore is big enough to fit our hubs.

i think you can put 225 on a 7.5... mine are 8.5 with 225 tires..
