there's a clip that holds the line to that bracket....pull it out.....then get some penetrating fluid and spray the connection good....get two wrenches....1 on each connection and try to loosen it but BE CAREFUL not to twist (kink) the line cause it's pretty easy to do. I hated messing with the lines....PITA....they get so rusted on they don't wanna come off.

I figured it out, thanks though!

Yet I didn't need any wrenches.. The clip came off with a flat head then from there it just slid out of the L bracket.

nah....the wrenches were for getting the stock line off the metal line. I hated that part...got me all nervous i was gonna kink the line. I would have been PISSED if i had to replace the whole thing:lol:

Helpful info here. Can the clip that holds the line to the bracket be removed without damaging it and reused? I'm going to be installing the goodridge stainless lines, and wanted to see if I should get new clips now so I don't have to run to the store in the middle of doing the work. Thanks.

No, the clips can be re-used.
