I get a call from papa saying he has a dead car that has power seats! I listen to a beautiful running engine that has oil coming out BUT isnt anything tape cant fix
I wanted the front seats from his Alero, mine were burn hole ridden and the previous owner broke the seat motor
We ran into alot of trouble trying to remove the drivers seat and I am very proud to say I own a 1998 Oldsmobile Alero GL :awesome:

After pulling the seat literally apart we found the bolts and learned how a few things worked. its dirty

after we found out that the seats come out with 2 bolts, replacing the passenger seats took alottt less time! its still dirty....

And now the completed project! they look and work so much better than the previous ones thanks to papa for the assistance

LOL I could have told you that the seat only has 2 bolts then you push it towards the steering wheel to get it out. LMFAO

Yeah...we found that out the hard way

We figured it out pretty quick. The only reason the drivers seat was such a pain was because we didnt realize it until after we started ripping it out and it got stuck back. Thus having to tear into the seat. it was fun though! My back still hurts...
