There is a Fridays, Burger King, and McDonalds within walking distance. A Walmart just on the other side of 96, a shopping mall about two miles down, An Auto Zone about 3 miles down and a car wash in Grand Ledge about 5 to 6 miles past 96. (If any of them are still there)

these are "16 mile" apparently. oh well 2 for 25$ ill take it.

I bet they do fine...the rating is the max distance over a clear area...here in nowhere kansas I was able to talk to people a ways off, however the city killed them...I bet the 16 mile ones still reach at least a few miles...bass pro shops had some that I really want...60 mile radius, waterproof, and they float

I've done that on the Capital Beltway (I-495)... It gets annoying after a while. Then again, there's always something going on the roads in this area... either construction, popo, ignorant drivers, or just traffic. lol even at night -___-
