OK I just got my front brakes done today, and my brake pedal goes all the way to the floor, but the brakes work fine.

If I get on the brakes and push the pedal all the way down, it starts trying to lock up the wheels and the ABS kicks in, so I know the brakes are good. My mech bleeded the brakes twice. When we took the calipers off, he clamped the brake lines. The master cylnder if full and there are no leaks.

He said that the pedal travel will improve in a few days but I don't know. I do have brakes. Very good brakes too, but it still feels funny. In fact, this is the thrid time I put front brakes on and everytime I have this problem. What the hell is it?

Also I don't have to push the pedal down much to get it to stop

Pedal should never touch the floor. Whom ever did it needs to go back and bleed the brakes. When I did my brakes I didn't even bleed them and they stiffened right up no prob.

Check your check valve on the master cylinder going into the brake booster. Just a thought.

Just checked it now, and no leaks at all in the master cylnder, not from the lines or booster.

This sucks, I think I'm going to stop at my mech's shop and try bleeding all 4 brakes. He only blead the front 2
