Well the title says it all lol. I recently purchased an 2000 Alero GLS a few months back after a serious wreck that I was in... Now I'm back to driving and I love how this car handles and gets up and moves lol. I am a novice modder when it come to little things (maintenance, etc) but I'm no slack when it comes to Audio and Visual. Its gonna take me a few years to get back in my grove like my last vehicle. I mostly joined not only because I just have the car but also join with others in the vast community. I'm gonna post up pictures of my last vehicle 02 Explorer and my 2000 Alero. It just gives you a taste of what I had and what I have to start with and get back at what I love to do. Modding vehicles and showing them off.

Welcome to the site! That's a clean Alero. How many miles are on it, and is it a 4 or 6 cyl?

As of right now it has 142xxx miles on it had 135xxx when I got it. This car was a cream puff. One owner car she did all the scheduled maintenance to the tee on this thing. Its a V6 btw. Already put a cold air intake and a Thrush Turbo muffler on it. For the price I payed for the car I still came ahead.

The previous owner got it done after a railroad arm came down on her when she was sitting at a light. I just wanna slap the guy at maco that painted this thing. Got paint on the passenger side headlight clear coated both the headlights and sprayed paint on the bottom of both mirrors lmao. I'm gonna get it repainted black after I put a new body kit on it. The front bumper it a tad bit messed up. Nothing a nice new bumper won't fix :)

Hahaha maco is cheap as balls. The reason why it's a sh*t job is because they charge about 450$ for a full repaint. It's basically the "I need a new paint job but I'm a cheap ass" way of getting a car repainted.

Wtf? They couldn't even take the lights out? They are held in by two freaking clips..

Possibly better they didn't figure that out, if the were to lazy to take the time to learn that, then they prolly would have just cut the wires once they were in there instead of unhooking them

Yeah and the plastic covers that cover them on top are missing too. But I have Xenon's in the lows highs and fogs just gotta find out a way to keep the drl's off and keep the low beams on with the highs. If I could find a reliable wire schematic then I could do it lol.

oh okay in that case.... idk if this applies to you but

2001 Oldsmobile Alero Locate the DRL relay in the main fuse box under the hood, it is #22 corresponding to the diagram on the underside of the fuse box cover. Remove the relay, snip pin 87, and re-insert. Source

sorry dunno why i said 03

I tried that and it still kept the DRL's and made one high beam not work.
