Anyone have one currently installed? If so, which brand and any invasive installation methods used in the process.
I'm interested in investing in one to cover and prevent future stone chips on the hood but I heard they cause more wind noise, which, most Alero's have over time.
Cheers!

flash back from the past here with this one... I had it on my stock hood, its a avs brand, not sure if it was made by ventshades or not now... this goes back almost 5 yrs ago... just sold it a couple months ago when I traded for the silver hood... but here is a picture... there were 4 screws on the under side of the hood, and then the rubber bump stops on top of the hood to prevent scratches...

I got mine at my local van and truck world... paid roughly the same price but they ate the shipping fees :)
you could easily get one at Canadian tire or part source etc ... probably just have to get them to order it and generally it's a 24 hrs wait...

Picture! Nice! I imagined it would look a little different though, but owell. Did you notice any more or less wind noise at highway speeds?

There was a bit less noise straight into the wind but a bit more through a cross wind...
There's another version of the deflector out there that's almost 8-12" up the hood... i never investigated what brand it was as i thought it was ugly haha... i liked this one but when i got my cowl hood this became unnecessary :)
I figured since our cars are almost twins you could appreciate the picture ;)

Definitely appreciate it! Twins, minus your cleared corners, side vents, and bug deflector in reference to the picture. My car has fabric interior though :(
I think ill pass on the deflector and window vents...something about it haha

Ya... that was the good old days... doesn't look anything like that anymore and hopefully this year will bring the final pieces together ;)
