while i had the bumper off i straightened the fins on the ac cooler and added a mesh to further protect it from more damage. also painted the key fob to match.:scpimp:

dont forget to buff and wax that. otherwise you will have absolutely ZERO chance of a shiny finish.

thanks guys lol yeah the bike was the only thing i could find big enough to support it so i could get it off the ground. as for the clear-coat i ordered a super glossy lacquer finish used this time instead of the semigloss,,, however the first can i used said glossy !!! so note to you peeps the Duplicolor Clear Top Coat is not the best,

ummmm what you did will cost more now to redo the bumper the correct way, I have seen way to many jobs like this done by the backyard bodyman/painter do not buff it its not going to help it look any better
in some cases we had to send out the bumper to have it stripped down which costs 100 bucks, plus labor to remove the bumper, plus labor to now prep and paint it your looking at probably 750 bucks to fix what you did
that's my opinion take it coming from a tech

Depends. I just got a new rear bumper re painted and charged me 100$ looks fantastic
40$ for bumper, 100$ for prep and paint. It's all about who you know.

Don't wax it, I don't know how rattle can clear works but with real clear coat you can ruin the finish if you wax it after paint because the paint is still curing. Shops will tell you to wait 6 months.
