Hello I just bought a 99 Alero 4cyl sedan. Hopefully I will be able to fit into this site. I really love all cars especially modding them. So any ideas for my car will be apreciated. I'm from MA btw if that matters for an introduction.

it's a 2.4 twin cam. I would really like to put an intake or something on it too. I figure this will be the best place for advice

Welcome to the site

why are long term members still not sure when the switch was from 2.4 to 2.2, for those who haven't got it yet, 01 was the final year for the 2.4 and the 2.2 was first put in the 2002

That should still be plenty long, however the one that bothered me more is in the other post with this car that has a picture and a member that has been here since 2010, it was more of a continued response after seeing that two times in a row where I added when they did the change

Not everybody is motor history proficient. Some people are Ecotec guys and other are 3400 focused. Just like at ASS when we ask Olds history questions and you guys are all like uh, ahhhh, duh, I don't know.

Everyone has a specialty and we pool all our info to help each other.

I suppose that is something to consider, I try to retain as much information as I can about all of them, so I don't see it as being that difficult of a thing to do, but I suppose I should remember people aren't all the same as me and some people don't care beyond what they have
