grand alero?

has any one put a grand am front end on there alero to make a grand alero lol Iv never seen one on here. pritty shure all I need to replace is the hood fenders bumper head and fog lights and head light bracket. thoughts?

Once you do front bumper you need headlights and once you do headlights you need hood and once you do hood you need fenders and pretty soon you drive a grand am

that's what I called my coupe... since it had the full grand am interior... I was going to swap the front end, but decided to sell off the parts instead...

good luck if you do it, and can find a grand am in the same colour as your alero... unless you are going to paint the whole thing anyways... have fun!!

i was about to do it with the grand am parts car i had but it was not the gt version so i didnt do it plud the rust on the fenders was bad..

around here there are a lot of sandstone grand ams...actually if i could find pictures the hybrid of the two cars that i saw was sandstone

Come to the state of wi there is a lot of red aleros and grand ams a lot of silver black dark greenish blue? Aleros and grand ams but not greenish blue grand ams

I don't think anyone has documented that around here. Nor has it been done the other way around to the best of my knowledge. You would have to get the ebay lights for sure if you did this since Grand Am's have 9007 bulbs instead of a 9006/5 setup. The other thing, which has already been covered is that it's a whole nose swap. You can get the side moldings/cladding and the rear bumper if you want, just know that you'll have 2 license plate mounts.

rear bumper of a grand am doesn't work without fabrication on the alero... where it curves for the tails is different and I believe the trunk mount mould is different as well...

Does it really? I remember SPC trying to sell me the alero body kit and told me that the bumper would fit right on.

Yeah, I see it now. I never payed too much attention to the rear end of the Alero. I always thought the tails were different but not the bumpers other than the cutout.

I will most definitely buy a third set of ga ebay projectors aswell as modifying the front bumper and fog lights. and ya my red ga is being used to train new firefighters lol

If you were to use an 03-05 front end the bumper is the same design as the alero without all the ribs... unless you're tossing a body kit on it lol...
