I recently called a shop and asked if they have ever installed aftermarket pulleys and the person said hundreds. So with that in mind I took my car there this morning and asked for it to be installed with a new belt that was 1in shorter than the OE Belt. I picked the car up and was driving it when i noticed when i punched it it wouild shake and just feel liek teh belt was slipping and it sounded like teh exhaust had a faint backfire on it. Has anyone else had these problems with the pulley for the 3.4? I called the shop and they said they did install teh belt with the proper torque settings and everyhting, but they are going to diagnotist it tomorrow or friday, but i wanted it fixed ASAP so if anyone has an info please pm me or reply thanks.
