New alt = more boom

Replaced my old growly alternator with a new remy unit and to my surprise my subs hit harder and stronger. I know in the sub world they ain't much but they do a good job. It feels like my amp is actually putting out the full 400 rms watts it's rated for. On top of all that car runs stronger too. Old alt still works but apparently not as well as it should

Did you happen to check the voltage right at the amp before you changed the alternator. There's a good chance it had increased a bit and may be slightly louder.

No I didn't. I should of. I can check it now though and see what it is. Going to check it at battery Monday when I get my voltmeter from school

I measured 14.78 volts at the amp.
