I highly doubt it has a supercharger. Engine shots needed. And he doesn't mention it whatsoever in the description?
Hmmmmmmmm... good price though if it is.

I have been looking into importing from canada...it seems fairly cheap if it is certified for here...that would be a good candidate

Well except this part: "Modèle/Model Alero 1999 GLS MP90 supercharged"

That's what I mean. Why would he select that as the engine and then not mention it being modified to have it anywhere in the description. It would be a selling point. He just brushes it aside like it's just a standard spec.

LOL ah gotchya... Ya you would think it would be a huge selling point maybe he's FoS.. I also wouldn't personally buy a car from that has resided for a long time in the snow because of the salt but that's like the south both are considered rust belts. I imagine with proper care it's not a huge issue but makes me cringe thinking about all the salt in the nooks and crannies.

I agree about the salt part but then again if it isnt somewhere where there is a decent amount of salt either for snow or from the ocean, then it is in the different southwest mountains which can be hard on the powertrain...best you can hope for is good care keeping it clean

I sent him an email asking for an engine bay picture. I am curious if it's true but it's odd that it was mentioned in the description at all. How much hp would an alero have if that supercharger was actually in it? And wouldn't there have to be supporting mods as well? None of which were mentioned.

Not much hp... it would have to be built for better gains. Stock it would basically be like a stock grand prix gtp....

with the proper tune it would be fun

it's not like building my engine made it faster. the turbocharger and exhaust/intake manifolds made it faster. the build was just to increase strength (in my case)

Correct. But with supporting mods you get the full benefit of power with that kind of add on.

I doubt it's got a supercharger. I think that's a bit of a gimmick to get gullible 16 year old's interested to buy it. To me (judging by the description given) it's just a daily driver/family mobile that has nothing worth writing home about.

Hi Chris,

I'm very sorry but this one you saw is not mine. I put the VIN number onto my posting to show any evidence. I do not know what aleromod.com means or is. You have my phone number and could come to check everything if only you are interested. Thanks man!
