Going fbody tonight. Bought red powdercoated calipers. Repainted to the citrus color on my current brakes. Figured the paint would look better on a already powdercoated caliper. Brackets are being worked on now, they are going to be black.

Nice brakes. Those should have no trouble stopping the Alero.

Why are you switching? Are you going for a more OEM look?

Well the baers need rotors soon. So at 200 a pop or so on rotors I didnt really want to spend that much lol

Little late but got them installed. Had a issue with leaking at the brake line bolt. Fixed that yesterday. Seems to be holding the fluids in now.
Sadly its a odd color combo (they are brembo brake pads and red in color)

when you think about it... to pay say a dealer to bring your car in, remvoe the brakes, clean and turn rotors and re assembly blah blah blah for a $50 rotor at an $80+ hourly rate... yeah not worth it. but for something that expensive, specialy if you remove the rotor and bring it somowhere and be like "turn plz", not so bad.
i understand you want something new, just puting the information out there for other people reading.

Yeah. They could be turned I know. But I wanted new everything for now. Atleast I have another upgraded kit as back up for something. The baer kit is great but I wanted to try out the fbody as well.
