I know a couple people have the headlight assembly covers under the hood, does anyone know which year and model they came from. I was at the auto wreckers in Ottawa for the first time and they have around 20 aleros and I didn't notice of them having this part.
I also found some near mint door panels for a sedan with automatic everything, what exactly would I need to make my windows automatic? Other than the regulator, like the wiring to the switches, etc?

The covers were only available on the 99's...
As for wiring you probably have to tap a fuse to make sure there's power etc.... check your doors to see what's in your door for wiring, plugs and everything to make them work.... compare them with that door at the yard and pull what you're missing!

Go to a junkyard and look for 99 aleros. Even if they arent in there spot. Ive found MANY in the car with MISC parts and or around or under the car. Look hard for them!

The amount of aleros that were there was amazing, most of the interiors were terrible but I found a sedan with mint leather seats (probably going to pick those up as well), about 90% of them were 3.4l, there weren't any 2.4l but there was one standard 2.2. It was also the first time I saw an alero with hood struts.
Regardless, I'll be heading back there soon to try and salvage everything for the power conversion, even if that includes remove a large wiring harness.

Which ones do you have Chris? Are they the avs black out headlight covers or the covers that sit inside the engine compartment under the hood that cover the top of the headlight?

Such a simple and rare part cleans up the engine bay tremendously. I have a lead on a few but they are $20 a pop. I haven't been able to find any locally :( I've even asked random people at walmart and other places if they would be interested in selling them if they had them. Got to look at few alero's and got some weird looks so far. lol. Looking good like usual matt!
