I was searching through the forums for a while and couldn't find an answer. My power locks are able to unlock the doors, but I can't lock them.

When I start driving the car, I hear the noise that it makes when you lock the car with a remote (horn noise).

Does anyone know what this could be?

Sounds like a short. Possibly to ground because of the horn wanting to work. All the window switch is is a sensor to the bcm to tell it to work the window.

Is it all doors or just one door? I had one door quit and it was the solenoid.

All the doors.

Since it's all the doors it's probably the master switch in the drivers door panel. All the windows run through that switch. I would hate to think your bcm is going bad.

Probably a wiring issue.... when i swapped the doors in my van i had to tap am alternate power source as the fuse was not wired up in my fuse panel as it wasn't an option ordered originally on that model....

It's my doors that came with the car lol. I'll check the voltage at the fuse

Had a similar issue as I bought the car. I replaced the relays of the power door locks and then it worked absolutely fine. Its worth a try before you start to change more expensive parts like bcm.

I would start with your master switch... thats weird though.
