heres a company my brother showed me . so i emailed them.

"Redefining Air Suspension Performance"

Jim Bigford
West Coast Account Rep

hello. im looking into an airbag suspension for my alero. so far i found three. air ride technologies, chassistech, and you guys. now i have a few questions on your system. is the struts direct bolt on when i get it?
"Yes, They will bolt directly in."
what is raise and lower time.
" Less than 1 sec. (It may even pull the wheels off the ground!)"
air ride struts are adjustable at the tops of them so you can adjust from performance ride to comfortable ride.
" There is a 9 way adjustment knob on the bottom of the struts to adjust ride quality."
are yours like that too? and does everything ahve warrenty?
"This is where we shine! The bags have a lifetime crimp failure warranty! That means that were we assemble our bags, if that fails, we replace it for life. Everything else is warranted for 1 year. "
thanks for your time. im undecided on which kit to take.

juice is better cause you can lay the car out a lot easier. air is nicer because juice can make a BIG mess. if air could lay my car out i'd buy it.

Ouch...well as long as they compete in quality and ride than I would try em....I'm saving to make sure I have good amount of money left over after my purchase.

lets see here, bdyman got a 2 way kit for...........2700....... i think getting easystreets air stuts, and one of airridetechs compressor systems, and you'd be all set! lifetime warrenty on struts! and airridetechs 4 way compressor system so that speaks for itself. total come to 2454$ alot less than bdymans 2 way system. B) i rest my case

have you ever tried this company bdyman? how would you know they are better? :P

Pimpalero03

this company uses air lift tech product struts which are just as good as air ride tech but as far as their compressor components. who knows. some stuff is chassy tech

hmmm...the quest for cheaper bag setups continues :D

Silentalero

Anything chassistech sucks basicly. Plus if you use their struts you better home your rims are not 18x8.5 or you will rub against the strut.

I talked to Jim yesterday and all their stuff is made in house so its not some chassistech stuff and its not any other company parts. Also, their tanks are internally coated so they dont rust from the inside out unline other companies. Its a fast bagsetup that runs on 300 psi so Id imagine you could get a lil hop outta it if ya wanted.

Ill let you guys know more as right now there is talks of me switching suspensions

quick question does anyone know if 20s would fit on the back of our cars without modification??? im also planning on getting airbags too... i want to try to tuck some 20s in the back.. any info would help.....

Silentalero
09-28-2004, 12:19 PM
no, plain and simple

even then if you do, you would have to find a set 20x7.5 which is rare enough and if you do manage to find em, youll have to get rubberband tires and youll be resting on the tire the entire time the car sits low and itll actually keep the car higher

ok that picture that bdyman has posted is that as low as it will go??? im still kind of up in the air about what kit i wanna get... any help on the best kit??? i want a 4 way setup i want f,b,s,s fast kit...

airride and air lift both offer warrenties. chassis tech doesnt. so if it breaks it comes out of your wallet. quality and warrent on all products is what u want. so what if u spend a little more

My wheels are 18x8 on a 2-door. Will that be a problem?

you'll need some slight modification, like removing the v8 and supercharged logos, then they should fit fine depending on your sidewall width.

oh and six foglights may also be a problem

yo just my opinion but chassis tech sucks i have a bagged S10 as well as my alero. i would stay with the better names like easy street air ride Ect I have always had problems with chassis tech getting parts to me and shipping me the wrong poop but air is a good solution if you dont like the mess of juice and it can be as fast or as slow as you want it to be if you want it to go down slow just install the exhaust filters in the exhaust side of you valves i would say 3/8 valves would be your best bet I have 1/2 inch on my truck and nitrogen with air as a backup i would stay waya from nitro in a car cause you will break something lol

id list the problems chassistech has but i dont have all day to do so..

btw plastic fittings suck, especially when they consider them "top of the line"

ok..........yes i am on chassis tech struts using air ride tech compressor system
AND NOT ONE PROBLEM WITH CHASSIS TECH!!!!!! AND THEY PERFORM!!!!!
AGAIN NOT ONE PROBLEM WITH CHASSIS TECH STRUTS
next yr i will swap out chassis tech for air ride struts
do not give me b.s about being on chassis tech
IT`S ALL ABOUT INSTALLATION!!!!!
you could have air ride tech and if you don`t know what your doing of course air ride tech will also suck donkey balls!!!
bottom line is how a product is installed!!!!

well i ahave had chassis tech strut bags for over two years and not one problem yet....... my valves are SMC 3/8 they are the best ask the big boys... they never have to be rebuilt. as far as cmpressors go with Viair... the are the best 100% duty cycle... you guys know you can buy all you air ride setup not in a kit right... That way you get the good poop..... yes it does come up within a sec.... If any of you have ??? about airride feel free to email me at forbidden@insightbb.com. I also own a business that sells anything you would want for air ride. I am not tring to tell you guys this to sale to you but just to help you out with any ?? you have.. Because trust me you dont want to waste time and alot of money on the wrong poop. There is nothing worse than been out with all your buddys and their cars and you have to go home because your air ride broke!!!!!!!!!

Silentalero

Their struts i never had a problem with but their compressors burn out alot, their valves stick, the tanks are NOT internally coated so they will rust from the inside out, the lines they use are cheap plastic and any kink will crack em. The fittings they use also have cheap plastic rings to hold and thin teeth to grip the lin and they leak alot.....i can keep going

I havent even touched customer support

i dont know about the compressors... i know i never sale them... I try to sale my customers the best. I dont want them to be unhappy or always working on it. Thier air line is junk and the valves suck to.. the valves i have and sale can even run fluid through them and they dont stick or need rebuilt. and their tanks.. well i dont know anyone with them so I cant say. It is alot better not too buy your air ride in a kit. that way you can get the best of every thing. and trust me you will save alot of money.just let me know if i can help anyone out.. I hope to have pics of my car on the site in the next day or two.

i want to drop my car but seeing as i dont think i will do too much more performance for this car the aftermarket support isnt big enough for me......you guys dont recomend the 2 kits listed under the suspension section.......i will probably just being use it to drop and raise it back up after parked, sometimes showing it off, and i dont want it too fast, slow would be fine for me, i want it 2 way adjustable, more than likely i think ill want front to back but opinions on this would be appreciated......

i want to run the lines outside so id want to get hard lines, what sizing would you guys recomend..........

any help on this i would appreciate, i want to see if this is the route i wanna take........

thanks guys
