But wait a minute, what about the Neverdone guys, did they only make one hood?

The car has a 2.4L ld9 with a manual transmission. It's got a prototype cold air induction system with hydrogen assist, a 4-1 header and full exhaust, the muffler is by Hayame. The car is equipped with a spec stage 3 clutch, an Eibach Pro Kit suspension and 18" Quantum Tec wheels. The hood and front bumper are production pieces by NeverDoneUSA the fenders are the early stages of another Never Done prototype.

No they made two, one on the prototype car and one to public.
Kyle bought it, then i bought it from him, then sold to jawa
Because the hood was complete sht. And needed alot of work to be right. I didnt care to deal with it.

so what exactly is that supposed to mean???

Haters
Sleepy sold you the hood, would that make him a hater too?
Are you going to cut out sections under the bubble? Because all the pics I saw, like the cowl hood, it's basicly a stock hood frame with no extra clearance

No it's not framed like the cowl hood. The contour of the bubble is the same on the underside I gained almost 6 inches of clearance

So what you're basically saying is Never Done was never done with this hood. At least they lived up to their name lol.

I dunno, I think they posted a comment a month ago about getting around to "phase 2," on that utube video....

Jawa is right, the underside of the hood is raised, and in form to the bubble. You do have added clearance under the hood.

No frame?
No frame. It is a full glass hood. But I do plan on reinforcing the underside with some sort of frame work, Yea it was neverdone. Definatly living up to thire name.

Now I like it even less. Sound like a lot of issues to come with it :(
You do plan on installing hood pins, right?
ive actually been sersously concedering hood pins, im kinda nervous to take it above 70
what do you recomend?
Redog

I never ran hood pins so I cannot say.
Do a lot of reseach on them. It's not the expense or the rarity of the hood, it's the hood flying up into the windshield on the interstate.
Happened to my ex wife's brother's riced out Mustang after he put a CF hood on the car
i think i found a set im going to run

Nothing like getting around to it 2 years after they posted the phase one video lol. So they're still living up to their name of never done then cause they still aren't done with their own car.

Well at least they're living up to their name errrrr.... I mean that's one name you don't want to live up to lol.
