Remote start works, but no power till key

I have had my remote start in my 04 3.4l for awhile now. I installed everything myself and it remote starts the car perfectly. However the dash cluster and other things like the A/C and heater won't work till I put the key in the ignition and turn it to on. This is really annoying since this also causes the car to sometimes throw a engine light (only turns on if I remote start the car a couple of times over a short period, never when started by the key) The code is for a evap canister circuit malfunction. I believe this might have something to do with the accessories not getting power when remote started, possibly meaning no power to this particular circuit making the computer think there is a problem.

Is there something I've missed, it's an avital 4103 remote start.

Some newer remote starts only start the car.... the accessories don't function as a result of some causing fires.... most common in cars with heated seats but i believe add a result most stopped linking the start to the accessories until the key is in and turned on....

As for the codes, that I'm not sure
