has anybody here wrapped their alero? If so, how much wrap did you use? what brand did you do? I'm thinking of wrapping mine, since I don't want to do a paint job, but the PO let it sit in the sun without washing/waxing so the driver's side is missing a lot of its clear coat.
Looking at this stuff:

That'd be job. I've plasti-dipped a few cars. Turned out alright. I can't speak for any wraps.

I've thought about plasti dip, but didn't want to have to basically painting it, as I am a terrible painter.
I'll have to save up and do it and report on the results. I want to wrap my alero as well as my XJ.

I haven't painted or wrapped my Alero, but I did get my Delta painted. I looked into wrapping it.
Cost me $2450 to paint the car, which included soda blasting it, and it would have cost me $3000 to wrap it. Probably would cost me $3000 or a little more to paint, but I went thru a friend of a friend of a friend and I stripped the car myself. When I do the Alero, I can strip it in front of the shop, probably take me like an hour to strip that. A lot less chrome on that car :coolio:

Pricing it out, buying enough vinyl to do it myself, I THINK it would be <$500, and if I really hate it, I can peal it off, and only be out the $500. Paying somebody else, it would make no sense to vinyl vs painting.
