I received notice from the OCA National Meet committee that my car was chosen to be on display indoors in Kingsport, Tennessee next month.

No roasting in the sun, no multiple days of cleaning and dusting, no potential hail damage. I am lovin it.

After the day of judging. And now the team leader (senior/master judge) has to help with tabulation entry!

But anyways the boy and I were not going to wait on the shuttle so we hoofed the 1.25 miles in the morning and worse yet 4:00 PM hoofed it back in the blazing sun and 98 degrees. Hotel to host hotel.

Parking was tough. I finally drove over and parked by the golf carts at the far end of the show field. Daily driver no Alero this time:eek:

I will be skipping 2017 New Mexico due to a big family trip! I will be at Gettysburg in 2018 with the car.

Yeah I'm looking to come out to Gettysburg in 2018. I mean with Nationals only being 2.25 hours from my house.

I'm looking to bring both the Alero and the Delta to this one

Just got the judging sheet from the Nationals in the mail today. Scored 998 which I am not complaining about. I am scratching my head at what the 2 point deduction was for. It was deducted for bugs on the hood. I can't control if the bugs were hitting the overhead lights and dropping on my car as it was one of the cars displayed inside. It is still the highest it has ever scored.

That's awesome and crazy to be deducted on that at the same time!! Well done Andy!! :)

Almost looks like they were trying to find something to deduct points for, but like Tim said that's awesome! Congratulations! :awesome:

When you hit the senior preservation level! These are the cream of the crop. So yes when I judge were looking for anything.

I have not had mine judged since hitting the senior preservation level. Most likely to happen in 2018 in Getteysburg.

Excellent job by Andy, I don't know where he finds the time to get that car so clean!
