Front section of the rear wheel hole opening. where it meets the rocker, and slips into the rear of the back door opening.

AKA a replacement panel for the spot that rusts on all Aleros.
They sell a portion of it: http://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/oldsmobile,2000,alero,3.4l+v6,1364206,body,rocker+ panel,1092
But making your own is likely for the rest. Didn't cost too much for my body shop to do mine.

ion, would you happen to have any before/after pics of the rust replacement work done on your car by your body shop? I've been wanting to do this for years and would greatly benefit from having pics to show a body shop exactly what I want done. If not, no worries, just figured I'd ask. Thanks in advance!

I just picked up the panel you speak of from Rock Auto. It was cheap enough. I still have the left side one, used the right side. Going to pick up another right side one with my next rock auto order.
There is a discount code on Aleromod under the Rock Auto page and click onto their site thru Aleromod, it helps our site :coolio:
