We own a 2002 2.2 5 speed Alero with 130K miles. It is in pretty good shape other than some dents, dash pad peeling, and a rattle noise on start-up that may be timing chain/tensioner related based on the info from this site. The plan is to keep the car running until parts are no longer available. Wanted to say thanks for all of the good information on this website. It is nice to know that people are still keeping these cars on the road and also taking good care of them.

Absolutely. It's getting some serious stuff done to it right now, hopefully will get it running soon on the standalone and tuned to 600whp, where it will sit for a bit til I get the money to do the rest next year.
