Lets See Your Tails And Headlights!

ok, i ordered some VHT nite shades, and i want to tint my tails. ive got a dk blue 4d gls.

Tails
i plan on doing just a general overal darkening, were in the day, when they're off, you can still see the colors, just darker...but before i do this, anyone have any pics of somthing else? ive seen a few things like tint it DARK, but leave circles open for the lights, and a slot for the turn signals and stuff

Headlights
i want to clear the corners, paint the bezels, and vht the turn signal part, so during the day you can only see the highbeam/low beam portion.....

Is it possible to take apart the tailights to remove the amber turn signal?

koruptid, thats what i want to do with my headlights...did you just paint the bezels with a gloss paint then use vht for the turn signal part? how many coats

i like your tails too...but i think for a dark blue car, just a overall tint would look best

i wouldnt vht the outside, i'd paint the inside like he did (i think) when he painted the bezels

i just painted the whole damn thing when i took it apart a coat of primer and about 3 or 4 of gloss black

still haven't gotten my vht stuff in the mail, supposed to be weds i guess...

thanks for the pics, im leaning towards cleared lens, with that part painted with the nite shades, and painting the bezels....so it looks like there is 3 seperate lights...then getting the silverstar turn signals so you can see the orange unless its on

ALSO - has anyone tried tinting the whole headlight with like 1 light coat of vht? just to give it a lightly tinted look? i relieze this will cut down on light output, but ive got upgraded bulbs (silverstar) and it would still have more output than a complete cover.....i would think for this though, you'd want to paint the outside of the lens......what do you think?
