Here I go again, having problems, yet AGAIN. This is aggravating and it is never the same problem twice.
I go to start my car, and it doesn't even crank (not even a click). I thought maybe the battery was bad, so I got a jump. Still nothing. The remote control does not work, but all the interior lights, switches, radio, and etc. seems to be working fine. I found one other thread about the security light, but I didn't notice. i will try that one. Anything else you can think of?
Thanks,
Tim

Not the starter. There were no noises indicating the starter even thought of turning. I have never seen a starter just go kaput in a matter of hours. Funny thing though, I went back about an hour later, car started. About 10 minutes later, dash gauges went again.
I had a glass shop check out my windshield. They said it was WAY loose and that was probably leaking the water into my fuse box. The sealing also wasn't done by the factory. So another reason added why I think my car was in a serious accident from Avis. So the windshield was pulled out, everything cleaned, and completely resealed. I'll see next hard rain if this fixes the leakage problem.
I just pulled and checked every fuse. All fuses ok, but something funny occured. I pulled the fuse for the rad / trunk relay on the driver side and all the gauges came back on. I put it in, everything goes off about three seconds later. I guess my next step is a hairblower set on high heat. See what goes on there.

Along with the fuse box, you may want to check the BCM for wetness. It is right behind the glovebox. Just a black box..

Definitely check the BCM for wetness.
I had the same problem after a bad storm last spring. The BCM was full of water!!!!!! Carefully took it inside and used the blow dryer to slowly dry it off. After that it worked fine. I also moved it to the side a little above the side kick panel so it won't happen again. Water comes in through the hvac opening under the hood and then drips through the fan into the BCM. The BCM has holes on the top but not the bottom so it will fill up to the midline and then water will slosh around in it. Give it a look-see.
