No Aleros At Slp Day?!

i wound up winning first in our class against the grand prixs' monte carlos yadda yadda... fun day

Congrats on the 1st place win. Not many folks here have SLP parts or installs. Nick is the only NJ-based Alero I knew of that definitely had an SLP exhaust.

the guy from slp kept seeing me first in line in the staging lanes and was asking me questions and taking pictures

And did you tell the guy you had no SLP parts or did you lie and say you had their exhaust or something? Or did he not ask you? The event is supposed to be only for their direct customers and others who have SLP parts on their cars. That is why I don't run their race each year - it's their customer appreciation day and I am not one of their customers.

no he didnt ask me what i have, a lot of cars there dont have anything from slp, the winner of best in show didnt have anything from slp either...

i really like the slp people but they dont make anything for my car... i think they sell strut bars, im gonna buy it from them when i get around to it...

edit: reguardless if its customer appreciation day or not i'll still show up to show my support for the grand ams appreciating them making parts for the grand ams :) i will gladly support any company that makes parts for grand ams and cares about its customers
