The car: 2001 Alero 2.4 Spring Special Ed. 31k miles. Wifes car.

I will just throw the questions out here:

Spark plugs are they really good for 100k? Seems to me that is alot of mileage.

It is about time to replace the brake pads. What are some good pads? I don't want any cheapo pads from (No name auto store). Then again being the wifes car no need for gold plated green pads.

As far as the rotors warping haven't had that happen as of yet, is it inevidetable or just by chance?

What kinds of tires are you guys/gals running? Stock size? Being that is it the SSE it has the upgraded 16's.

We still have 30k left on the warranty so still no big modifcations.

Thanks for any help,
Rusty

if you are worried about the spark plugs pull one out and take a look at it........if you dont think they need to be replaced just clean it up with a file and pop em back in......

brake pads, ive heard a lot of people with raybestos or something like that........ive put 20,000 miles on mine and pads are still good and so are rotors.......

as far as your rotors just keep an eye on them, im sure youve read the trouble we have on em.........

as far as tires skys the limit......ive ran nittos and they were good, im running kuhmos right now and so far I really like them.......

Thanks for the replies.

We have had the car since it had 5 miles on it, the funny thing about that is I have still yet to find the spark plugs or wires.

As you can tell by my name my car is a Neon, I am not afraid to tear into it, but the Alero kinda scares me.
