Dome Light Removal

I need to take off my dome light in a 99 Alero GLS. There are no screws, I don't want to pull down to hard and rip it out of the cieling, I tried sliding it while pushing it up...nothing works. Is there a trick to it? All I want to do is replace the bulbs with some modded bulbs. Can anyone help me out?

Oh yeah, I just bought it... Talked the dealer down $1800 from $7995. One of the best cars I have bought as I can tell so far.

you just pull it down, or of you want to just take the clear part out, there are little tabs on either side, you can stick a small screwdriver in there and pry it out.

Yeah, I just saw that, I have blue lights aiming at my back seat now :). I was looking at it in the dark and did not notice those tabs.
