Got to school early today, cars fine. Shut it off, turned on the lights and walked back to check my brake lights. They didn't work... so i went to start the car and it just cranked and cranked.... Only had starting problems once, and had the altanator replaced about a year ago... where or how do i make sure the tranny is grounded...

Her symptoms

• Unlock car with keyless it unlocks no exterior lights.

• Lock car with keyless it locks no exterior lights, but horn does still chirp.

• When it failed to start the radio worked fine, mileage counter did not work service vehicle soon light came on.

• When car is driving at night the gauges are not lit up, mileage is on and counting dummy lights are on, only the SVS light. Thermostat lights are not lit up and cruse control lights on wheel don't light up (one was burnt out already)

The vehicle is leaking oil slowly cuz retards at wally world stripped out the bolt, and they said they will pay for it, to get fixed... it leaked a bunch so i put some oil in last night and may have put to much in, don' t know if this would throw out the svs light... and the starting problem is just starting at the same time...

Spark plugs was changed not to long ago, alternator was changed about a year ago.

May just have to have the dealer look at it. any tips would be great.
The car manual said SVS light comes on for malfunction of DRL's and some other thing... beats me GERRRRRRRrrrr

Hope the car starts in the morning. <_<

hope you get it figured out, also, i've thrown a SVS when ANY fuse was blown. that'd be the first thing to check.

also, do the DRLs work? what about auto-on at night?

try taking the neg. batt terminall off for about 10 min or so..... i just had the svs soon light on and it reset the system, so if it is just a computer prob. that might fix it.....

You blew the fuse for the parking lights. which controls all of that. thats why your SVS light is on. The fuse is located under the hood box. It is a small 15 amp blue fuse. Its located in the front of the box by the air box .. should be near or next to the relays. I think number 35 or 38 .. you'll see it if u read underneath the fuse box diagram.

Change fuse everything will work again (unless you have a short aka wiring problem, then it'll blow the new fuse). If not.. your good togo!
