im doing some window shopping for the spring.... :D
they are ASA EM9's, id get 17x7's, hopefully a 235/40/17 will fit, justV BARELY a smaller tire than stock, 1.8%. they are labled as "lightweight" rims too, at 21lbs, notsure what a tire weighs though, but ive read the stock combo is 42-43 lbs. a slightly smaller tire will help with the off the line power just a little too...only 5% from what ive calculated, but it may be lighter which will also help
what id really like, is this rim with 14 spokes instead of 16, but im not sure on exactly what i want, but i do know 18's are to big for my taste

those are it..i know tirerack lets you "see them" on the car, but it doesn't give you a real accurate portrayal of what they look like. i searched cardomain, some people had some bling bling rims, some had some generic looking stuff, nobody had 17's that i really liked, some of 18's i liked, but thought they looked a little big. i like what crazy taxi has, but in a 17" version

I have the same wheels that Crazytaxi has (they're actually his old wheels)
But they are 17's and his new ones are 18's
They are ADR Skye 7's
I am taking them off today and they are going to be for sale.
They are painted silver but they do have some chips and pitting.

i thought 18's were the perfect size on my dropped aurora, alero's smaller. i think that i dropped the alero 2" 17's would be perfect, the 16's used to look to small in size, now they look pretty good size wise after the drop, so 17's would be my best bet. that and i want a little rubber, i MAY go 18's...but im 90% sure on 17's.

i still think 17's are too small on a dropped alero. just take a look at pimp alero's. honestly i'd almost go 19's if i had some cash.

if you want more rubber go 17's, more rim go 18's. Too me it is not worth bending a rim. Here was my alero is the 17's and intrax springs.

you're not gonna bend a good 18.
well i know there's no way in hell i'll bend my 5zigen's. rough roads, rocks, potholes, you name it i've hit it. rally driving in the mountains has proven these rims, and i'd buy 5zigen again.
its funny when people buy these 14lb rims in hopes it'll make them just a little faster, and they whine when they bend one.

I agree with you, 18's are a little too big.
Nice choice for the wheels  ASA makes a good wheel

or how about THIS rim! i cant believe no ones ever used it, or that i can find. looks almost exactly like the osv 18's
i tried photoshoping it on a dropped 4 door gls, but it looked like crap, but they look sweet on the osv, maybe its because i suck at photoshop
there's also someone's dropped gls i found on cardomain with what ADR gt sport rims photoshoped on
