I just replaced my brake lights with led's and was wondering if they would work in the turn signals, the reason im asking is i know seeing as they will pull less power will it mess up the blink rate and set off a svs light? thanks guys

u will need resistors to make it work.

im not going to do it myself, it will come with the resistor and diode built in to the bulb with led's.......u mean im going to need an extra one, or just what i said the bulb will come with?

I installed LED turn signals, looks great. First, make sure you get at least 12 LEDs in the turn bulb. Mine were type 3157. Next, you have to purchase a load equalizer (like a resistor).
Step 1 - My car had 3 wires going to the bulb, one positive for brake/turn, one negative, and another positive for running lights (dimmer). Cut the harness and use quick connect splices between the positive brake/turn, put the load resistor between the two.
Step 2 - Mount the load equalizer, it gets extremely hot.
Also, take note that I learned a couple things.
1- If the turn signals flash extremely fast when you install the bulbs, you either didnt use the load equalizer or you crossed the wrong two wires. Use POE to find the wire, reverse polarity usually wont hurt an LED.
2- Also, check to see if the load equalizer is getting hot when the flashers are on, if not, you probably have it backwards.
