Duplicolor metalcast chrome (3 Coats)
Duplicolor gloss black (3 Coats)
Clearcoat (4 Coats)
I made the oldsmobile logo by printing out an olds logo on internet and cutting it out with an exacto knife. I sprayed spray adhesive on the back of it and placed it on the bezel. I painted the entire area with 3 coats of gloss black and then used chrome touchup paint and a sharpie marker to fix minor mistakes.
Let me know what you all think! (The woodgrain is going to be replaced soon)

Looks like good work with the painting, but it doesn't flow with the rest of the door (nor does the woodgrain which you will be replacing). It would look way better if the rest of the door was black.

i'd make the woodgrain black, the handle black, and also blackout the reflector.

It's nice, but a little more black would be better. Nice job on the painting!

Thanks guys. That is the back door by the way, I will get a picture of the front as it is done as well. I am definately thinking of changing the door to black, but still undecided on how, should I fabric it or paint it? That is a good idea to black out the reflector.
Anyone have pics of reupholstered or repainted doors?
I found one of the front door of a Malibu, very similar to my car (Cutlass).

Do NOT repaint your door black. Don't listen to these fools. Just because the piece where the door handle is black, doesnt mean you have to go crazy and make the entire door black. Gees some people have no sense of style.. it looks good the way it is, just do something with the wood grain and it'll be fine.

To lessen the confusion
1st car -= Cutlass
2nd car-= Malibu
3rd car-= Alero
All of these are n-body cars. There is obviously no site for cutlass mods, so this is the forum I came to. I am just trying to show the door handle bezels and other oldsmobile mods, or universal mods for N-Bodys. Sorry about the confusion! :)
Alright, I will see what I can do. First off though, the woodgrain is plastic riveted into the door panel. I can only "break" it off. And painting over the woodgrain might not be smart. What can I do here? Also, what color do you suggest? Everything in my car is simply black and chrome with blue LED's galore. I am yet to find a paint that looks like real "chrome". Is there some kind of vinyl I could put over the woodgrain?
