i no i did a search before i posted this...
but i still havent found a place through the firewall to run my 0 gauge wire...
and i dont believe i that fits underneath the drivers side door trim does it...
i was sorta dinking around with it earlier but i still dont no...
i would like some pics if possible but i no its sorta a bitch to get under there and poop but it would help out alot...
and i was also wondering about how difficult it would be to run it down through the center console, underneath the back seat and to the trunk...
or would it just be easier to run it through the drivers side door trim...
i have all of my rca wires running along the other door trim...
thanks for helping out...

p.s. pics would help...

Firewall is easy...right below the steering column is a gray grommet, slice that and run the cable thru that. And no, it doesn't fit under the door trim...but if you put it right next to it under the carpet and run it under the seat, you can never see it.

Under the center console would be a pain in the ass, cause the rear of the console is pretty flush with the floor of the car.

I have 0/1 gauge wire in my car, so I know the pain you are going thru.

I always do it the janky way and ass my wires through the top of the fender and under the gasket/door seal and then under the molding like most.

why would you do this?.....just take the extra 5 mins and run it through the grommet he's talking about above...it really is NOT hard AT ALL....

It should be PASS not ASS btw I forgot the P. I think the main reason why I didnt pass it though the firewall is I either didnt see the grommet or I didnt wanna take the chance and take out wires by drilling through the grommet.

You don't have to drill through the grommet, it isn't really even a grommet it is like a big ruuber grommet that a bunch of wires run through. All you have to do is take a hanger and poke a hole in it then push your wire through.

that's what i did, took 6" of clothes hanger and taped it to the wire, and pushed it right through... took 2 seconds.

I just carefully took a pocket knife and made a little cut...badda BING badda BOOM! you've got yourself instant access to engine bay!

i didn't even cut mine, i just pulled the rubber surrounding the steering wheel up, and pushed my 4 gauge through. i may want to pull it back and go through the rubber though, that way its not rubbing against the sheetmetal now that i think of it, wasn't a tight fit at all though. and running it to the trunk..piece of cake, i ran it down in the corner, like 4" away from all the other wires, easiest setup ive ever seen. used a total of 15' to the amp thats mounted on the back seat, could have used 13' if i flipped the amp around.

First off, there are usually two rubber grommets to push through. It takes some playing around to get the wire through both. I use an exacto knife and tape the wire to a long pointed screwdriver and poke it through.

As far as running wire over 2ga, there is usually three ways to do it.
1) Run through firewall if possible.
2) Run through center console (down middle of car)
3) Run under car (Usually only necessary on older vehicles)

If you need more info on any of these methods let me know, I can show you pictures of my installs using each method.
