hey i was just on PYFC and saw the extension harness for our car and they said if you have a CAI you "Should" get this extension harness so your computer read the temp more better and giving better performance...? can anyone give me some feedback? thanks..

basically it relocates your IAT closer to the filter, it may read colder air, and it'll increase performance by adding more fuel (making you run a little rich) and since the air isnt that temperature when it hits your intake, the extra fuel isnt needed, and instead of burning it like it's supposed to, you'll just run rich.

It basically just a extension for it becuase when you change to a Wai/Cai the original Wiring harness may not reach. I know on my Wai That the harness is almost 100% stretched out, and I almost needed it.

it can be used for that if needed, but it's intended use is to relocate the IAT as close to the filter as possible, as i explained before. they dont give you a 2 foot extension for nothing.

from pfyc
"...you'll definitely want to consider moving your intake air temperature sensor closer to where the air is coming in. This 24 inch harness allows you to do just that."
