Hey all hows it going?? I have a little question... A few days ago i took my car through a pretty curvy road. The car did awesome. It was alot of fun riding through it.... My only complaint was the seats. Everytime i went into a turn I slid in my seat... Now I am pretty sure its probably a combination of the leather itself and the lack of support from the seats. My question is what kind of seats can i put in here that will look stock yet very supportive. I want to stay away from aftermarket seats... I was thinking about Seats from a Corvette C5... i would liketo keep the power adjust on the drivers side and leave manual on passenger... SO if there is anyone out there than can help me please give me some advice!!!!! it will be greatly appreciated.

I have also been looking for seats that will give me a little extra but if I put one of these black fancy sparco seats in a tan interior, wifey will leave me. If you can find volution seats and get a chance to try one out, they do seem to look good but I don't know what they are like to sit in. Unfortunately, the only seats I have found that combine comfort, looks and performance are Recaro but I would like to find seats I could afford. Seats from sports cars (vette) will cost you and are not necessarily better than aftermarket. Let me know if you find and affordable seat.

Add padding to the original seats and ahve them releathered, or if you like t really stick in your seat get some Kirky full racing seats you can pick some up for about $200.00 for 2 with covers but they will not be very comfortable and will take modding to get them to fit.

and aftermarket seat you get will have to be modded to fit...nobody makes a slider that i know of for our cars...maybe i'm wrong?

Universal sliders should work, they come with most aftermarket seats.

but universal is just that...universal...your always going to have to do some modding

Can always use the original sliders just add a couple inches to shim the seat up to the right height.

Its not really that simple. When we put the racing seats in the Alero the stock brackets are nowhere close to the width of the aftermarket mounts. To get them to fit you would have to have someone make some brackets. We just added some spacers to the UNIVERSAL(crap) sliders that came with the seats. We had to drill new holes and set new bolts to mount them. It was a BIA.

Still do able and not that hard seeing how I have mounted a couple racing seats in the past but I mounted them in Race cars not in a street car and we kinda just bolted the seat to the rollbars, not to sliders which is alot easier to do in a race car.

Lol, yeah that would be much easier. If it was my car I would permanently mount the seats too but since we change seat positions in my wife's alero, thats a no go.

dude a seat from any other car will fit.
but a seat from another car will not bolt right in
if your handy with tools and can fabricate a bit you can fit just about anything in there
i have 95 mustang gt seats in my 96 jeep wrangler.

I thought I read the alero didnt even have sliders, maybe thats just on the 04's? My stock seats are mounted directly to the floor, on the cavalier they had sliders that stuck up about 3", I put racing seats in it and had to make brackets, but it was really easy, basically just a piece of metal that u mount to the stock sliders, then that to the new seat, but this causes the seats to sit up a bit higher then stock.
