Front Seatback Foam Broken??

:( The inside piece of foam in my driver's side seatback seems to have broken off of the frame or something. Anyone know how to take the clips that hold the seat cover on the seatback off without ripping the fabric? I think all I need to do is take the seat cover off, reglue the foam wing back onto the frame and put the seat cover back on. Any ideas???? Thanks guys.

Just some needle nose pliers should do it, but you need special pliers to put it back together if your wanna do it right.

You should be able to pry it apart with your hands and put it back together too.

There are also some fabric loops at the base of the seat back that are hooked around posts to hold the seat cover down tight.

i had this problem years ago. but i had it fixed under warrenty on my car.

when the foam pulls away from the frame you can end up breaking the frame. this is what happened to mine.

in oder to get to it you need to remove the headrest and pull the seat cover off to fix it right.

my foam on my seat is destroyed.

it is ripped apart on both sides.

it is a cloth seat.

is it worth trying to fix?

i seen leather seats for $150 for replacements.

think it would look stupid with leather in the front and cloth in the back?

Check out Katskins if you are worried about the coordination of front and back seats. Otherwise tell those who complain about mismatched seats to get in the back

Not on mine at least I didn't. I spilled something on the drivers seat a while back and i took the seat cover off and threw it in the wash. There aren't any hog rings holding them on.

Usually at Oldsman's place. You'll usually see a thread in the regional section when there's one going on.

I had to fix the foam on my seat too, that was a while ago, I'm pretty sure I didn't need any tools though.
