ok....
so i just started working on putting my system together tonight and i realized something wasnt right...
so anyway to get to the point...
i wired up my 4 channel amp to all of my speakers awhile back and i hooked it up and all that cool stuff...
but now after a whole 3-4 months of having it in i think i f***ed it up pretty bad...
cuz when i installed it before...i took the 6x9's out and replaced them with pioneers
but they only needed 2 wires connected to them...
so i just connected then up...
but i remember not using 2 of the remaining wires that the factory speakers had...
and now my speakers short out when i turn it up loud...
and that f***ing pisses me off...
so i was wondering if anyone knew what to do....
i no that i will have to connect the other 2 wires up there somehow...(4 total)
but i dont no which colors are positive and negative...
so i just wondered if anyone knew how to fix my problem...
my front speaker are working great...
its just those damn 6x9's that are giving me the trouble...
thanks alot....

Here's your problem...you have a factory amp somewhere in the back of your car...I ran into the same problem with mine. there are a few resolutions, but I like to take the path of least resistance, so here's what I did. Go buy some new speaker wire, connect it to the wiring harness on the back of the radio and run the wire back to the speakers on the deck and the problem is solved. You could also try to figure out which wires run from the front and intercept them before the amp, but again as I said...path of least resistance. I was able to connect the rear speakers without removing the deck...good luck

ill have to see what i can do...
im almost done with my system...
its taken awhile but here is a pic of my progress...

if there's 4 inputs on each speaker...then you've got an amp....it's a bi-amplified system (woofer and tweeter of the 6x9 are amped separately)
