so who here's got one of these Jet performance modules? I know I saw one sitting on someone's dash, but I forgot who? Jabartram maybe?

No matter who it is, any opinions? Any performance gains? Just looking for impressions and reviews if possible.

yeah, it was me, I have since removed it after talking to several people. They said it didn't really do much for their times. I didn't have any comparison, as I never raced the car and got a time before I put the module in. So, I don't really know if it works or not. However, if you want mine, I'll send it to you for the price of shipping, that way you can try it out. I plan on getting the DHP soon, so I have no need for it. I still have the directions somewhere. The only thing is that you will have to splice some wires in. I had to cut some of them to get the thing out.

DHP is Digital Horse Power, they make a PCM upgrade for our car. They are about the only that makes a true pcm upgrade for our car. Here's the link:
http://www.pfyc.com/store/merchant.mv?Scre...ry_Code=GAUNDER (http://www.pfyc.com/store/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=PFYC&Product_Code=GA3010&Product_Count=17&Category_Code=GAUNDER)

You would choose the one for Grand Am SE and your year, that's assuming you have the 3400, which I assume you do.

The GASE one won't work in our cars, because the gauge clusters are different.

You'd have to go to DHP directly to get one that works in our cars.

^^Oh, I thought that would work, that's what everybody has said, but I guess I'll have to go straight through DHP. Thanks for that little bit of info.

Gauge cluster doesn't affect anything....the actual programming in the cars are different. I talked to DHP personally and asked them about it. They are essentially the same cars motor and tranny wise, but the computers are different.

All in all, you were right though....you do need to go straight through DHP to get one for the Alero.
