Anyone know a good place to bring pressurized oil from the engine to the turbo on a 2.4? also i'm guessing i'll probably have to put a little more oil into the engine. how much would be enough and would i need a bigger oil pan?

lol im glad u brought this to my attention, ive been researching all aspects of turbo and forgot about the oil feed  i believe most come from the oil pan itself (oil feed lines) and I believe all u have to do is drain the oil, tap a hole big enough for the lines and then walla! your done, but correct me if im wrong (trying to remember this from watching one of those tuner shows on speed channel)

Thats what I always though just run a line from your oil pan, I dont really think there is a place to tap into except for the oil pan unless you have a oil filter relocation kit.

as far as adding extra oil, i dont think you need much extra, if any

yeah you tap into the the oil pan for the return line so the old oil drains into it. but i was wondering about how to get fresh oil into the turbo. it has to be pressurized to be pushed into the turbo.

It should be from the top of the block, so it doesnt have to travel up any further to get into the turbo, and can easily drain back down into the pan.. as far as a specific spot, I don't know you'd have to ask somebody who's run the lines before..

you might be able to run a T or a Y where the oil pressure sensor is........

Or just ditch the oil sensor altogether as it's just a dummy light that shines when you're alread SOL.
The oil feed line from where the oil sender unit is on the intake cam housing, to the turbo, and for the return tap at the highest point in the oil pan as possible.

I email'd the guy at Exploited Racing and asked what they did for their turbo's and he told me the same thing...the oil pressure sensor on the driver side of the intake cam housing, in between both cam housings where the plugs are
