Coilovers are back

aight, this INCLUDES struts, it HAS to the way our cars suspension is made and they have to be modified.

For a setup with stock struts it will be $450 plus shipping

For a setup that utilized KYB struts will cost $625 plus shipping

there will be at least a 2 month wait from the time i recieve the money since I have no overhead to buy the parts ahead of time. Then fabrication takes a lengthy amount of time.

Anyways... in my opinion... ~225lb/in front and ~150lb/in rear would probably be as stiff as you want for the street for most people...

they have to be siffer than that in general though unfortunatly. since some people will want to get extremely low with these it requires stiffer springs to keep the struts/car from bottoming out.

package them with a warning. Saying you don't recommend they lower their car with these springs lower than 1" of wheel gap with a stock sized tire, or something like that... I know as a general rule in the U.S., if you're a bunnywad, and you bunny something up of yours, you find someone else to blame it on and sue them, so it's understandable that you don't wanna do that but...

what is a safe drop with them knowing that I like rippin up the streets every so often, but also have underbodies on, so i dont wanna crack em... Also, is their max height the same as stock, cuz I do have to deal with winnipeg winters = LOT OS FREAKIN SNOW!!!

basically dude, i can do whatever you want. if you want to be able to go real low you can. if you want above stock height i can. With my coilover set, basically, if i can get the car off and on the jack i could lay out. I can also go to stock height or even above it. i think my sleves are something like 6 or 7 inches.

However- the spring rates im not sure if i can change yet. im tryin to see where i can get just the sleeves cheap.

He's using KYB GR2 struts, which are pretty much OEM replacement struts... not exactly a high performance unit, and I don't know how well they're paired with his spring rates... but they're still adjustable height coil-overs for cheap..

(Oh and to answer your question no the damping isnt adjustable)

KYB GR-2's are a BIG difference compared to stock. No adjustable damping. as of right now you can either get them with stock or kyb gr-2 struts. i COULD do koni inserts but it would cost a small fortune as some have found out.

I'm down for buying a set... Would you need my stock struts in return? My car is a lease... So I don't know if I could give em up... Also there isn't any other way to make em without replacing stock struts? Thanks

nope, you can keep your stinkin struts. :) if ya wanted to get rid of em might give ya a bit off, not much since i can get them pretty cheap.
