Best Buy And Alpine

Check it out...for those who like Alpine, but hate Circuit City (seems to be a lot of people that I deal with that are in that situation)....Best Buy is going to start carrying Alpine starting Feb. 5th 2005...Also, Circuit City is going to stop carrying Alpine stuff too! (not sure on when that's gonna happen). Just thought I'd pass the info along for those Alpine lovers but Circuit City haters! ;) :thumbsup:

(P.S. I work at Best Buy in the install bay/car audio sales floor and the district manager of Circuit City was in yesterday at Best Buy talking to me and my supervisor and told us about how C.C. was dropping Alpine)

wow! best buy finally picks up a reputable company that makes subs! i dont see how circuit will stay afloat in the car audio losing alpine, since they already did away with polk momo. lucky/unluckily i quit my job at best buy but already have my setup for sound, just need some 6x9s for the back and some 5 or 6"s for the front

actually....we're note 100% sure if we're going to be getting just the decks or both decks and speakers...so I guess time till tell

i hope they dont run there name into the ground like rockford. rockford was the #1 company before best buy started selling them. you know if you buy a Punch XL from best buy, its different than a Punch XL you pick up from other car audio shops? ( i dont know what rockford is calling there lines anymore) i hope they dont do this with alpine too.

the new line of rockford amps are way better, ive got a p5002 on my polk momos and it pushes em great, still wish i woulda gotten the p8002? (2400 watt amp) that would have cost only like $80 more on the discount.

actually the oldschool Fosgate amps/subs/everything is MUCH better than the new ones.....

^^^^ what he said, new rockford isn't bad, but its not #1 like it used to be. it has started to pick back up some, it really took a dive a few years ago. its a powerful amp, but why plaster 2400 watts all over it, when its really 800watts, because stuff like that, and brands like audiobahn, legacy, etc etc, people dont understand how much power 500 watts actually is.

i really like the way the new rockfor stuff looks, especially the power amps. brands are reliezing that flashy colorful stuff isn't taken so seriously, decks are starting to get better looking too. anyone see the jvc arsenal5000?

Its good that CC is droping alpine and Best Buy is gettin them cus that means that there will be annother Alpine dealer here in canada Too FS will be sellin alpine too.
