The word "thingy" makes me seem so smart <_<
Another day...another problem
Anyway, I was just wondering putting on new pedal thing(ys) are they a do-it-yourself? Yeah, can I install them myself...thats what I'm trying to say! Urg! hehe...yeah.
Okay...I need to stop saying "yeah"...
...yeah.
(My mom: wouldn't it say on the box if you can install them yourself?
Me: You know what...! You're right. Hmph! Oh well, can't drive back to Auto Zone...)
Luv U! Luv Me! NIKKI!

I just took the pad of the brake pedal and screwed the new racing one on, the gas pedal pad doesnt come off so just screw them into the existing pad. The little clamps that come with most pedals dont work becuase htey are made for imports and american cars have larger pedals.
Pic :D

^ I've actually found that our pedals are too small for those clamp on pedal covers.

I got my pedals second hand so I didnt have clamps but from my experience they are uselly to small on American cars but if are pedals are to small it is the same thing. just drill and use metal screws to hold them on or self tapping screws.

I'm on my 2nd set now, and both fit on fine. The first set had the clamps, i had to take the rubber pad off my brake pedal, but my gas pedal fit fine. The 2nd set i bought are really cool, they're chrome and black seperated by a Blue LED flame. These pedals just have those adjustable screw clamps through their backs so they went on really easily. These are definately one of the easiest mods that anyone could do to their car.
