ok i bought some drilled/slotted rotors off Ebay from R1concepts and ever since i got them they have been a pain in the ass. my first pads SEMI METALLIC lasted 3 weeks. new set 2 weeks....anyone had this problem? my rotors are screwed. So now im forced to buy a whole new set up. Can anyone give me a recommendation that works.
:D First recommendation is to get ceramic pads. They are much better....then make sure you didn't warp your rotors...and by the way semi-metallics eat rotors thats why they are only 20 bux at autozone.

those rotors off ebay are crap, there drilled after they are formed, which weakens em some. ceramic is the best route

I run crossdrilled with carbon metallic pads and they work great! and i'm not an easy driver so they have to handle alot of abuse.

I did some searching and all the pic's i found of drilled rotors installed they are rotating forwardcross drilled and slotted on GTO (http://www.pfyc.com/store/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=PFYC&Product_Code=GT4007&Product_Count=0&Category_Code=GTSUSP)
Vette rotors (http://www.pfyc.com/store/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=PFYC&Product_Code=VT4001&Product_Count=1&Category_Code=VTSUSP), so i think mine are ok.

powerslots pattern is opposite most other slotted rotors i believe. I had baer slotted up front and powerslots in the rear and it looked ott cause the powerslots LOOKED like they were spinning backward or wrong but they arent.

the only way the backwards thing could be a problem is getting left and right mixed up, did they come labeled?
